Super easy at-home blood draw

I had my routine blood work done last week and it was so much better than going to a lab. The person who came to my house was really nice and professional. They got everything done quickly, no issues at all. It was just a really convenient way to get it handled, saved me a trip and waiting around.

Good for busy schedules

I booked Getlabs for a cholesterol testing because my schedule is crazy and getting to a lab is a nightmare. The booking process online was straightforward, I just picked a time slot. The phlebotomist arrived right on time, had all the necessary gear, and was very skilled; I barely felt the needle. My samples for Labcorp were taken efficiently. I didn't need to contact support, which is always a plus. The results came back through my doctor as usual. Overall, it was a smooth, professional experience that delivered exactly what it promised.

Worth the convenience fee

I needed some vitamin deficiency testing done and decided to try Getlabs because I saw they had a first-time discount for $10 off the convenience fee. It made the cost feel more reasonable, especially since I didn't have to take time off work or use gas to drive to a lab. The phlebotomist was quick and competent. For the value of saving time and hassle, I felt it was definitely worth the price I paid.

Quick and simple blood draw

Needed a metabolic panel. Booked online, phlebotomist arrived promptly. Collection was fast and efficient. Samples delivered to Quest Diagnostics. Very convenient, no complaints.

Mostly good, minor issue

I used Getlabs for some routine blood work and overall, it was a good experience. Scheduling online was simple enough. The phlebotomist arrived within the scheduled window and was very professional, she made the blood draw quick and painless. My only small gripe was that the confirmation email took a little longer to arrive than I expected after booking, so I wasn't entirely sure it went through right away. But everything else worked out fine, and it was certainly more convenient than visiting a clinic.

Can I use a promo code if my doctor ordered labs through Quest Diagnostics? Or are the discounts only for Labcorp patients?

C Carol D. 2 weeks ago
The promo codes usually apply to the Getlabs service fee, not specifically which lab. So yeah, should work for Quest too.

I've used codes for both Labcorp and Quest orders without a problem. It's for the visit itself.

Thinking of using Getlabs for my annual physical. Do they just do blood draws or can they also collect urine samples for routine checkups?

J Jacob Johnson 1 month ago
Yeah, they can do urine too! My last appointment the phleb collected blood and a urine sample for my doc. Super convenient.

They do a bunch of different sample types, not just blood. Just make sure your doctor's order specifies everything.

I'm looking at Getlabs vs. Sprinter Health. Has anyone used both and can tell me which one's better? Mostly care about ease of booking and punctuality.

C Chloe A. 2 weeks ago
I've only used Getlabs, but they're always on time and super easy to book through their site. Never had an issue.

Used Sprinter once, wasn't bad, but Getlabs felt a bit more polished with the app and communication. Plus, Getlabs seems to have more availability in my area.

How legit are these guys? My doctor recommended them but I'm always a bit wary of at-home services. Are the phlebotomists actually certified?

J Josh C. 1 month ago
Totally legit. All the phlebotomists I've had were super professional and showed their certs when I asked. They partner with Labcorp and Quest so that's a good sign.

Yep, they're certified. Had a great experience with them, very professional. Felt safer than going to a crowded lab.

What happens if the person can't find a vein? I have really difficult veins and always dread getting blood drawn.

J Jeff 1 month ago
They're really good about that actually. The phlebotomist I had was super patient and found a vein even after a couple tries. They're trained for that.

My phleb was awesome. Had trouble with one arm, switched to the other, no problem. They won't just give up on you.
